Ziggy's Story...
Ziggy is a super friendly, super talkative, super playful guy! This affectionate boy LOVES attention from his people in any form he can receive it. Ziggy loves to be petted, especially when it involves ear rubs and head scratches! If you can do those things while Ziggy is curled up in your lap, even better! Interacting with people has the instant impact of turning Ziggy into a purr monster!

When Ziggy isn’t reveling in the affections of his people, this busy guy turns his attention towards playtime. Ziggy loves to play with wand toys, especially those with feathers, and will pursue any ball that you throw for him at warp speed!

Ziggy’s outgoing, sweet nature extends to other felines as well as he seems to want to be friends with everyone he meets! One would never guess Ziggy was rescued from a hoarding situation. Despite a tough start to life, Ziggy only looks forward and there is nothing he is looking more forward to than finding a family and home to call his very own! To learn more - www.azrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ziggy, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
