Benji's Story...
Benji
Available 4/11/15

Meet Benji, a 9 pound, 2 year old male Chihuahua.
Benji was rescued from a local animal shelter.

Benji is a calm and friendly boy who loves spending time around people and large dogs. He enjoys belly rubs, kisses, walks on a leash and likes to ride in the car. He is house trained and uses a doggy door.

Benji is looking for a home where he can spend time with his favorite people. A fenced yard is on his wish list so he can have room to run and play. He may require supervised playtime around small children.

Benji is neutered, heartworm negative, received all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on flea and heartworm prevention.

His adoption fee is only $75
Donations help us to keep our adoption fees low and allows us to help more animals in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benji, a Weatherford Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
