Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sugar's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Sugar's Story...
Sugar is 1 1/2 to 2 years old and is spayed and up to date on shots. When we took her in she was expecting puppies and had them the next day.
The puppies are now adopted and Sugar is looking for her new home. She seems fine with other dogs. She is looking for a playmate or a family who has time to teach her things that her previous owner had no time or desire to do. She is curious with cats and is always up for a good chase, so would do best with no cats. She is in a foster home and appears to be house trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Lake Orion Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lake Orion, or seeking a Coonhound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lake Orion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Orion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Orion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Coonhound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Orion paves the way for another one to be saved.
