Brutus's Story...
Meet Brutus, a 3 month old Boxer mix. His mother was all Boxer and the dad was Boxer/Bulldog. Brutus is neutered and current on his distemper shots. He is too young for a rabies. That needs to be done when he is approximately 4 months old at one of our vets. Brutus was born on January 1, 2015. Both of his female littermates were just adopted. Brutus weighs about 21 pounds so he will probably be large when full-grown. He will need some running room so a nice yard would be great for him. He is a very nice puppy who seems to get along with other dogs and has been with children as well. He does pretty good in his crate and will go outside and go potty. He is not fully trained but we are working on it. His adoption fee is $200.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brutus, a Lake Orion Boxer/American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Lake Orion, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Lake Orion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Orion already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Orion breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Orion paves the way for another one to be saved.
