Facts about Gypsy

  • Breed: German Shepherd Dog/Chow Chow Mix
  • Color: Black - With Tan, Yellow Or Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Gypsy's pancreas does not work correctly and she requires medication to help her body to absorb the nutrients from her food, without it she will lose weight until she is skin and bones. It isn't a big deal, 1/8 of a tsp, sprinkled on her grain free food, stir, wait 15 minuets and feed her.
She loves older children but is not good with young ones.
A belly scratch is heaven for her, she never tires of them.
As you can see in the picture, her lower jaw has been injured. She got into a fence fight and her lower jaw was ripped. It has healed and doesn't cause her any pain, just makes her sloppy when she drinks.
A home where she is the only animal, no small children, and can be outside and inside would be ideal for her. She loves people, grain free treats being brushed and giving kisses.
