My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

June is just a delight! She's a 2 year old purebred German Wirehaired Pointer that was surrendered to Friendship because her family was moving and couldn't take her with them. Because of her breed she is a very active and high energy girl and will need a family that's the same. June will need lots of exercise and a larger fenced in yard to burn off a lot of her energy. This gal would make a great running or walking partner. She should not be tied outside and is not reliable if off leash. This gorgeous girl does well with children but can play rough due to her excitement and zest for life. She's fine with other dogs but has not been around cats. June is easily distracted by birds and other little critters so will need a patient owner. She would ring a bell on the door handle when she had to go potty. She's also a great co-pilot while riding in the car. Jump in your car, take a ride to the shelter and check out June.
