Buddy Plunk's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Buddy Plunk's Story...
Buddy was found as a stray and taken to a very high kill shelter in Memphis - but pulled by a very sweet person who saw his sweetness and potential despite his surroundings. Buddy is about 3-4 years old, 15 pounds, great with other dogs, people but NOT cats! We would not recommend him to be adopted into a home with a cat. Buddy is a happy little guy who loves to play but makes a great cuddle buddy also and is housebroken! This little guy is being fostered in West TN and will be transported once an adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add Buddy to your family, please visit our website and fill out the online application. We look forward to helping you add the perfect dog to your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy Plunk, a Southington Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Southington, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
