Foster to adopt- an approved adopter gets to keep the puppy in his/her home until the puppy is spayed or neutered and becomes adoptable. (We do NOT adopt out any animal unless spayed or neutered.) Until the puppy is spayed or neutered (6 months of age) K9 ResQ remains the legal owner and covers the cost of vaccines, vet visits, meds, surgery and microchip.
After the puppy reaches 5-6 months of age and has been spayed or neutered, the adoption will be finalized, the adoption fee paid and ownership transferred to the adopter who has been fostering.
