Olivia's Story...
Hi! Thank you for looking at me! Aren't I the prettiest thing? I look something like a blonde Mini-Schnauzer, but that is anyone's guess! I am just SO glad to be here in RI, with the folks at Little Paws 4 U. I was in an over-crowded shelter in Louisiana and it was noisy! Being a bit shy in my nature, I was so sad there. Luckily for me, a really nice rescue lady came to get me. She cared for me, vetted me and made sure I got onto transport to RI. My birthdate is January 1st, 2015....a New Year's baby! Given my weight at this time, I should be around 30 pounds when grown. I am a puppy, and puppies like me do need companionship, attention and a bit of training (we are close to being perfect, but need a little help!). Please ask about me if you have the time and patience for a little one like me. Please ask about me only if you do not have small children or larger, aggressive dogs. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, western MA, Cape Cod, Maine or are near Manhattan NYC, Boston, Worcester or the Fall River areas. My fee of 395. covers all vetting to date, transport to RI, a Health Certificate, an exam by a RI vet, de-worming and I have my own collar and blanket as well. Please call Judy with any further questions at 401 640-0082...would LOVE a fur-ever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Foster Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Foster, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Schnauzer (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Wirehaired)/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
