Fabian's Story...

Hi-I’m Fabian, a very handsome boy about 1 yr old. I was left alone in a  barn with my “brother” when these wonderful people came to save me. I love people a lot and even do well with other dogs. I can be a bit on the shy side when you first meet me but I warm up fast. I really like snuggling up on the couch with you and getting scratched behind my ears. My coat is thick and lush, and though it looks black, I have a beautiful chocolate brown undercoat that shines through. If you have some extra room in your heart, can you consider making me your new best friend?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fabian, a Arlington Heights German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Arlington Heights, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Arlington Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
