Bolo's Story...

Meet our water loving baby, Bolo! Bolo is a 4.5 month old Bernese Mt. Dog blend that found himself at a scary high kill shelter without a home. We were not going to leave him behind so here he is today, waiting ever so patiently for his forever home! Bolo is learning his house training skills and he is crate trained. He is extremely eager to please and wants to learn. He would do best in a home with children 7 and over. He is all puppy and does not realize his size nor strength and little children are too fun and exciting to play with. Bolo would like an active family and he told us he was hoping for a family that would give him a kiddie pool! He loves to play in the hose, pool, puddles, water dish....if it has water in it, he wants to play! Silly pup!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bolo, a Arlington Heights Bernese Mountain Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog for sale in Arlington Heights, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from a breeder in Arlington Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
