Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lealani is a beautiful 57-lb, 6-year-old female black lab mix. She has a glossy black coat and the lean slender build of an Irish Setter. This pretty girl is housebroken, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. Although friendly when meeting adults, children and other dogs, Lealani is most comfortable with older, mellower dogs and would also do well as the only dog in the family. She is okay with dog-savvy cats, but if a cat runs, she will give chase. She is a sweet girl who craves lots of attention and wants to be near you all the time. She will happily lay at your feet, or put her head in your lap, and follow you from room to room. She is gentle with the neighborhood kids and would do well in a family with older children. She’s a bit overly excited first thing in the morning and when you come home after being away, bouncing all over the place, but calms down quickly. She would benefit from having an experienced dog owner. Someone with a firm but gentle hand to teach her how to heel on a leash (she loves to go for walks!) as well as some additional commands besides “sit.” She is smart and eager to please, and looking for a forever home with a family she can love and be loved by in return.
