Charlie - Meet Him! Laid back's Story...
This precious little boy looks like a lab mixed with maybe border collie. He is a total sweetheart and very laid back for a pup!! He is approx 4.5 months old and 8 lbs at 4/15. He has the softest coat and is just the sweetest pup. He loves to run and play with his rescue buddies and is always happy. Since he is still young, he still needs some house training but is learning very quickly by running outside with his buddies in a fenced in yard.He will also need leash or harness training, but seems to be a very smart dog and should be easy to train. He will probably be in the 20-30lb range when fully grown. He is a fast learner and foster mom is training him to the electric fence!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie - Meet Him! Laid back, a Norwalk Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
