Little Jax's Story...
Little Jax is a 8 lb 7 month old chihuahua italian greyhound, we think. He is cute and playful and sweet. He loves other dogs and lots of toys. Jax is neutered, UTD on all shots and mostly housetrained. He was left tied outside of a vets office. When the owner was traced and called she said "I don't want him anymore" and hung up. Fortunately Jax doesn't seem to hold any grudges. He might be a little nervous at first but responds quickly to love and attention! If you would like to give this baby his forever home, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com. and I will send you our updated info and app. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Jax, a Albany Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Albany, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Albany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Albany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Albany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Albany paves the way for another one to be saved.
