Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sasha: 8 yr old female Ruddy Abyssinian
Sasha came from a shelter. When she arrived she was polite and remote. Distant. She ate and greeted us but was depressed and quiet. This was not a surprise. No cats do well when they have been left in shelters.
Well as a little time passed she sure got over that as these pictures below show. What an affectionate girl she really is.! She loves being held and will rub herself on your chin and lick you and nuzzle you and settle in against your neck. She is wonderful. What a lover.
Fostering is so satisfying. You take in an unknown cat and worry and fuss and watch the cat be sad and unsettled . A little time passes and suddenly like magic the cat resumes its former wonderful personality and behaviors and you think Oh My God what a fabulous cat this is.! And you are so glad you reached out to help her since she was “not adoptable” the way she was at the shelter which means you have saved her life. Sasha is a treasure without price.
She is wonderful. She needs a human who has time for her. She would like a lap or two to sit on and a human who wants that close connection with her.I don’t know how she is with dogs. Sasha arrived on March 22nd so we have not had her long. As we know her better I will update her bio here -if I still have her.
She eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
