Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Muffin's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Muffin's Story...
2 yrs old and under 20 lbs.

From the foster mom:
Muffin is a sweet girl once she gets to know you. She loves to play with other dogs as well as toys. She eats with other dogs but if it is a really good meal or treat (ie canned food or Greenie) she can get a bit possessive which can lead to aggression if not corrected. She can be a bit snarky at times so a home with no small children is required.

Adoption fee of $225.00 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.

We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week.

Please email lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Muffin, a Summerville Pekingese/Pomeranian puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese/Pomeranian for sale in Summerville, or seeking a Pekingese/Pomeranian puppy from a breeder in Summerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Summerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Summerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese/Pomeranian breeders who help with Pekingese/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Summerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
