Nilla Wafers Nelson's Story...
Meet Nilla Wafers Nelson, only 6-7 weeks old today 4/11.

The solo boy among 5 sisters, he does his best to keep up with the catiness!

Beautiful grey blue with a bit of white on his face, neck and purrfect white socks. He's smaller and shyer then his sisters, but warms up once he feels comfy.

Rescued from the West LA shelter just in the nick of time with their mom, this friendly and outgoing gang of 4 (2 have been pre adopted) seek loving LA homes. Available to be adopted at 8 weeks, about April 19 or 26th.

May be adopted as pairs or singles to the right home, to be inside only. Kittens this young do well placed in pairs. Still very small and fragile, they require extra love and attention.

This is a courtesy post for Kitt Crusaders who rescued this super social litter of 6 with their mom from the West LA shelter. You can contact them directly: mary@kittcrusaders.com or their foster mom Cat, at writerxyz@gmail.com. To meet these tinys, their weekly adoption event will be Sundays 12-4 in Larchmont at 100 Larchmont Blvd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nilla Wafers Nelson, a Los Angeles American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
