Rosie's Story...
Beautiful Rosie is a sweet girl who looks like a little miniature Lab mix! She weighs in around 37lbs and is a medium sized girl. She was brought to us when her previous owners could no longer care for her. She has a gentle personality and while she likes to rund around and play with other dogs and her toys, she should be ok for a less active household. Rosie appears to be housetrained but may need some reminders in a new home. She has been spayed, is current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Play with her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Benbrook Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
