Skipper (fostered in SC)'s Story...
Holy Puppy Power!!! Look at the cuteness overload we found hanging around all by his lonesome in a SC shelter! Meet the latest edition to SCD....this is Skipper!!

He's just 6 months old, 28 lbs., fully vetted, neutered and he is stealing hearts left and right wherever he goes! We think he'll be about 50-55 lbs. when he's done growing.

His foster Mom and Dad have two other Carolina Dogs that he pals around with all day and they say he's an energetic little guy that loves to play. For that reason we'd love to find him an active home with another dog or two and definitely children that he can grow up with!

This little guy has classic Carolina Dog written all over him and he's got that great quirky personality to match :) He's very intelligent and is learning all of his commands quickly.

Serious applicants please send an email to savingcarolinadogs@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skipper (fostered in SC), a Cranston Carolina Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog for sale in Cranston, or seeking a Carolina Dog puppy from a breeder in Cranston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog breeders who help with Carolina Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranston paves the way for another one to be saved.
