Hi there! My name is Milah. I'm a 7lb bundle of puppy joy and energy! I'm only 4 months old, and loving life. Life with NBS Animal Rescue is great, but it would be nice to have a fur-ever home with someone who could love me always and teach me new things.
My foster family says I am super smart! I'm picking up on potty training well, I know "sit", and walk happily on leash. Oh, do you know that one game? The one where you throw a toy and I bring it back SUPER fast? You know Fet...FETCH! Yeah, that is it! I LOVE that game. I could p[lay it all day. Then when were done? Maybe we could just snuggle up and you can rub my little tummy. In my foster home, I get along with other dogs of all sizes, cats, and love meeting new people. I have not met many kids yet, and I am very tiny - so it would be great to have a home with mature, gentle children who know I am a real puppy and not a toy. (but I do love me some toys! wahoo!) So pretty much, I'm a good girl. Sometimes I do get scared in new places if I am alone in the crate. It takes me a day or two to settle in. After that, I'm a happy camper. My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
