Peter's Story...
This gorgeous face belongs to Peter! Peter is a 3 year old white and tabby cat. Mostly white with tabby spots, just very interesting markings. The first thing you will notice about Peter is he makes himself right at home. This is one CHILL cat! He came right out of his cage and just stretched out on the lobby floor in front of everyone as if to say, yes please go ahead take my picture. Peter is sooooooooooo loving, very affectionate, will climb right into your lap and stay there. He also likes to be held. He really is an amazing cat. So mellow and sweet. You will just fall in love with this guy the instant you meet him.

Peter's estimated birth date (by a veterinarian) is 4/03/12.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peter, a Marseilles Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marseilles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marseilles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marseilles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marseilles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marseilles paves the way for another one to be saved.
