Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diesel is approximately 4 years old and weighs 10 pounds. He was found as a stray running the streets. We're not sure how that happened to this sweet little guy but now he's looking for his new family. His foster family says he's starting to take over their house and their hearts. He wants to be a part of everything the family does and will be a wonderful companion for some lucky family.
- Loves to cuddle and go for walks.
- Gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home.
- Curious about the cats but does not chase.
- Knows basic commands. Sit, come, lay down.
- House trained.
- Crate trained and will go in and out of it as he pleases or sleep in the crate at night.
- Due to his small size, a home without children under the age of 8 is required.
- Tries to sneak out through small openings in the fence at his foster home so he has to be on leash or watched closely even in a fenced area.
- It appears his teeth were not properly cared for in his former life so he will need to have his teeth brushed regularly and an annual cleaning to keep them healthy.
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at http://www.dogsunlimitedrescue.org/Adopt.html
THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org
And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
