My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Riley. He's a 3 year old purebred Yellow Lab. Riley was originally adopted from the Lorain County Dog Kennel. There was a divorce in his family so now he is here at Friendship hoping to find a new home. Riley is shy and cautious in his new surroundings. It will take awhile for Riley to trust and feel comfortable. Once he does, he's a sweetheart of a dog, but can be apprehensive in new situations. This nice fellow is house trained, has manners and is very food motivated. He likes kids and dogs, but has never been around cats. Because of being a nervous fellow we recommend kids that are older. Riley liked to sleep in bed with a family member. He's afraid of storms and fireworks. Riley would love a semi-quiet home where kids are respectful to dogs. He's a very sweet boy once he gets to know you...but it will take some time.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
