Star bright, star light, the first star I see tonight...In her photo, Isabella seems to be wishing upon a star. Saved as a tiny baby, Isabella is a lovely calico lady with all the vibrant coloring along her back, face and even a sooty spot along her nose! This big girl is a great companion kitty and will invite petting and give thanks in purrs. She is a quiet, low-energy and not at all the diva - unlike ahem...some we know. Isabella has that quiet charm and the soulful eyes of the kitty who would like to be a companion and maybe listen to everything that happened during the day. She will sit by and help entertain your company if you have to leave the room for refreshments. She would do well in group or solo living, and in quiet moments or family celebrations.
Isabella has had a rough time of it lately. She was found limping one day, and the vet diagnosed her with a broken foot. She was in a splint for two months and had vet visits and x-rays to see how she was healing. Isabella's leg was not healing, which was causing pain, and her leg had to be amputated. She is healing well and it has not changed her friendly, sweet personality.
As with all PAWS cats, this kitty is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, treatments, and FIV/FELV tested negative. If interested, please submit and easy on-line application on www.pawsofhertfordcounty.org.
