Milton is waiting to go home! He is a little on the large side for a Jack Russell but big kids need love too! Milton is a little shy, he loves to go for leash walks and warms up if you give him time. ID# 4/3-0714. We think he would prefer a home with no small kids and no one to push him around. He needs a calm environment. Contact Betsy or Sara if you can adopt or rescue! mystiblu@bellsouth.net hoocrew@Hotmail.com

Act quickly to adopt Milton. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milton, a McDonough Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in McDonough, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in McDonough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McDonough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McDonough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McDonough paves the way for another one to be saved.
