Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Artie. I don’t know what my first name was because I was picked up as a stray in Tennessee and no one claimed me. My foster mom thinks I am AWESOME because I am a small 20 pound Beagle, about 7 to 8 years old, and I survived on my own as a stray before being taken to the shelter. And, you can imagine what life in the shelter was like . . . and I still survived. Because I was so frightened at the shelter, I was not even going to be put into adoption after my stray hold was up – but Critter Cavalry came to my rescue! My foster mom came and took me home. I was a little shy at first, but then I relaxed and began to enjoy life again. I am crate trained and housetrained. I get along with all of the other dogs here, but I prefer to hang out with the older, more quiet ones. What I really would like is a home where I can just relax and be a couch potato. You know, live out my life being loved and appreciated for the cute little guy I am. I would love someone to cuddle me and let me sit on their lap. I ride pretty well in the car, too. Maybe you could get me one of those booster seats so I could look out of the window. I know I will be the perfect fit for someone out there. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
