My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maybe my name should be Lucky Lady. I was taken to a kill shelter by my original owner who had me since I was a puppy. They decided they just didn’t want me anymore and took me to the shelter to get rid of me. My time was almost up when Critter Cavalry sent my foster mom to save me. So I guess LUCKY Lady would be a suitable name. I am a 1 year old, Beagle/Basset mix (or a Bagel if you prefer) weighing 40 lbs, and a beautiful brindle color; cute and gorgeous, according to my foster mom. I have the prettiest green eyes. Since I spent a lot of my puppyhood in the shelter, not getting enough attention or exercise, I am a little rambunctious when I first get out of my crate, but once I run around for a while, I do quiet down. I still need a lot of work and work on leash walking as well. I am crate trained and pretty much housetrained. I love to run around my fenced backyard. The fence is a good thing since I am a Beagle/Basset and would tend to follow my nose if I caught the scent of something. I do get along well with my other foster brothers and sisters. I chased the cat, but didn’t hurt her. I would really love a new family who would love me forever and not get rid of me like an old pair of shoes. Can you offer me the security and love that I would cherish forever? ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
