Queenie is a beautiful and independent 5 year old, 60 pound, female German Shepherd that is looking for a special forever home. Her former owner passed away and she was left in an outside kennel, shut off from human contact for quite some time. Understandable, Queenie has developed some trust issues. She is a very sweet girl and has come a very long way in just a few weeks and is now craving the attention she deserves. She will need someone very patient that she can depend on, with a fenced yard. Queenie seems to be very confident and will go investigate a new noise instead of just barking. Her favorite toy is a rope with a tennis ball tied on it and will chase it as many times as you can throw it! She walks well on a leash, knows her sit and down commands and meets other dogs with a wagging tail. It is unknown how she is with cats. Queenie will make the right person a very good companion.
