My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Sarah
DOB: ~ 6/1/14
Breed: DSH
Other: Polydactyl
Color: Brown Tabby & White
Temperament: Faithful Friend

What can we say about Miss Sarah...this little girl is a big cuddle bug. She LOVES to be with her people. When she first arrived in her foster home, she was cautious of noises and quick movements. But her foster mom spent time sitting quietly with Sarah and let her get to know her. After a few days, she was trusting her people and starting to feel comfortable exploring. We knew she was going to come around the first time she crawled in her foster mom's lap and head butted her chin, something she does quite often now! After a few weeks, she has become the perfect little sidekick. She can be caught racing her foster family up the stairs and following them from room to room in hopes that they will take a break to pet her or pick her up for some cuddles. She loves to sleep in the bed and can be quite the hog even though she is such a petite cat! If her foster folks are sitting on the couch and watching TV, she will lie on the arm rest patiently waiting for attention and hoping for a chin scratch.

Sarah is adjusting to the resident two cats and is improving every day! She is not a big fan of the large breed energetic dog in her foster home but for the most part, they leave each other alone and do just fine. Based on the little we know about Sarah's past (abandoned with another cat), it is understandable that she is a cautious cat. Once you win her over though, she will be a great companion!

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heart-worm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Sarah's adoption fee is $125 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
