Sophie's Story...
Please meet Sophie. Sophie and her sister Ella were rescued from the shelter on Monday, March 30th. They were two of the dogs we completed the adoption on and loaded up as the police showed up at the shelter. THey were shut down the following day. Ella and her siblings had to live in a horrible place, but one of the most beautiful things about dogs - their ability to move on. Sophie and Ella are happy and healthy and loving life at their foster homes. They play well with other dogs, are sweet with children and all around great dogs.

Sophie's adoption fee is $200 and will include her spay surgery, microchip, deworming, two sets of vaccines, rabies vaccination, and bordatella. Please email us for an adoption application wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Memphis Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
