Ish Kabibble's Story...
Sleeeeeek....cuddly.....lap hugger...talker...companion.
Ish Kabibble is named after a vaudeville comedian--the guy that Moe in the Three Stooges patterned his hairdo after. That sleek, black hairdo says it all for Kabibble's looks. He's a black cat of Siamese lineage. Somewhere in that slender, soft body run some very Siamese genes. He's a bit of a talker, and he calls out to you when he sees you.
Kabibble was a tame cat in a feral colony. We don't know how he got there: maybe his owners didn't get him altered and he got lost looking for a mate. Maybe he's one of the HUGE number of cats abandoned because of the mortgage crisis. We don't know his story, but we know he was looking for a handout, scared and skinny and a bit beaten up. It looked as if he may have been rolled by a car in the parking lot where he was living.
He's all healed now, and although still slender, he's at his ideal weight. He's still slightly fearful with strangers, but once he gets to know you, you can't keep him off your lap, away from your legs, or escape his soft fur as he begs you to pet him.
Black cats are often overlooked at adoptions in favor of their flashier cousins, but Kabibble shouldn't be overlooked at all.
He's the companionable, loving, sweet, sweet boy you've been looking for.
