I can't remember ppl but I always remember dogs who went through our program when I see them.
Sometimes I just need a little bit longer...
I found this little girl on a Sunday afternoon in March, running lose near the Airport and spoke with one of our foster homes to check pictures with me together from 2011.
I looked up adoption contracts from 2011/2012 the next morning after we made the decision that this little girl really has to be one of ours, even without microchip.
We called the guy in our paper to find out that ONYX got re-homed with our ok for about 2 years ago although I can't remember and I can't find any new papers about another adoption for this dog.
Well, maybe we are wrong and i really lost the adoption contract during 5 times of moving since 2011 but there is no lost report at animal control, no one called us about a missing dog although the owner should know that he/she is supposed to call so we can help and look around - this part never changed in our adoption contract.
Sometimes I wonder.....
If you are not ready for a longtime commitment then PLEASE sign up to be a foster home and leave the adoption papers for someone who is ready to be a responsible and forever dog owner!
Onyx still knows her name very well, I guess it never changed and she is close to 6 years now.
Onyx LOVES to go for walks, rain, snow sun - she doesn't care as long as she can walk and sniff things.
She is ALWAYS happy and joyful around ppl. and ok with most other dogs but for sure not happy about the fact to share human and sofa with someone else.
Her adoption fee is $ 60 to cover her update on vaccines, frontline, grooming and de-worm treatment (what was absolutely needed)
