Korben is all SMILES! He is in need of a patient home to transition to after bouncing around before settling into foster care. He will do best with a person that has time to spend with him, he is a great one-on-one companion! He really enjoys having a person around to pass the time with. He has been working a lot on his self-control and has come a long way!! He is so much more focused now, it has really been an AMAZING improvement. He is extremely food motivated which makes him easy to train and he learns quickly. He is very eager to please! He also has great house manners, is very tidy and a low shedder. We recommend he be the only animal in the home due to his lack of manners with other animals. However, social skills can be taught over time with exposure and consistency. He has befriended his foster’s dogs and now that they are all comfortable with each other they play quite well! It just takes Korben some time to get comfortable with new surroundings. Korben hasn’t spent a ton of time around kids so we are looking for a family with children over 8. Korben is 4 years old, 55 lbs and we believe a Boxer and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, but wither way he is adorable and full of personality! He loves car rides and does great with interactive toys. Korben is house trained, crate trained, and loves to cuddle. He also knows how to sit, stay, wait, lay down, and always takes treats very gently. He’s a total couch potato when he’s in the house and enjoys a having a person to snuggle with. One of his favorite pass times is to lay on your lap and watch movies. Korben needs someone to show him the world and help him understand the appropriate behavior for each situation. Adopters must own their home and have a fully fenced yard. His adoption fee is $150.
