Pierre's Story...
Bonjour! Mon nom est Pierre. I am a very handsome young, blue, male Weim that is somewhere between 3-5-years-old. I was left in a basement when my last owners moved and a very kind police officer rescued me! I am a very smart boy with lots of energy and I love going for walks. I get along great with my Weim foster brothers and also my human foster children, but I do not like cats. I play fetch and love to play tug of war. I prefer to sleep in the bed under the blankets with my foster friends. I do not like to be left in the kennel but it turns out that is ok because I am a very good boy when left out during the day while my foster mommy and daddy are at work. I am a very loving affectionate dog. I would love to have a loving family of my own and I know I can make you happy. I cannot wait to meet you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pierre, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
