My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Donald came to Tree House in February of this year in poor shape. His fur was matted with his own waste, he was severely dehydrated, he had a terrible Upper Respiratory Infection, his eye was so infected we didn't think it would be able to be saved, and he wasn't able to use his back legs. He hardly weighed 6 lbs. upon arrival. We began the long process of rehabilitating Donald by bathing, shaving, and treating his various ailments, day in and day out. In less than 2 months, Donald had gained 4 lbs. and we believe he will continue to grow! With time and patience Donald began to use his legs again too, and he has just started to explore the shelter! He may not have a home just yet, but he is finally in the hands of people who care about him. Donald has a very bright future indeed.
