Grace Kelly's Story...
This gorgeous kitty with the stunning eyes is Grace Kelly! She's about 6 months old, spayed, current on her shots, microchipped and litter box trained. She's a friendly cat who likes being around people, gets along nicely with other cats and tends to hide from dogs.

Grace was a stray cat in our Assistant Director's neighborhood who found warmth in her garage this past winter. Numerous attempts were made to find an owner and Grace didn't want to go back to street life so we brought her into the rescue to find a wonderful home for her!

Affectionate and sweet, Grace loves attention! She likes rubbing against members of her Foster Family, hoping they'll pet her! With her sweet charm, adorable pink nose and beautiful eyes looking up at them, who could tell this gorgeous girl no?

Grace is still a kitten so she's very playful & frisky! She loves playing with sticks that have toys dangling off them, especially feathers!

Grace Kelly can't wait to find her Forever Home and be part of a Family! If you'd like to give this gorgeous kitty with the stunning eyes a life of love & happiness, please send us an email at or visit our website & fill out an Adoption Application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grace Kelly, a Fairview Heights Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairview Heights, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fairview Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairview Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairview Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairview Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
