Ben's Story...
***ADOPTION PENDING***

Ben, a 6 yr. old rottweiler is looking for his forever home. Ben has lived most of his life in a kennel situation but you would never know it. He has adjusted remarkably well to this world of ours with the help of a wonderful foster dad and a 4-legged furry little friend named Maxine who helped show Ben the ropes.
Here is what foster dad has to say about Ben:

So I have to say “Gentle Ben” is one of the sweetest K9 souls I have ever met.

He is quickly learning all the manners & social skills of living in the big city, being exposed to everything from jack hammers, traffic, live music, many small & large dogs and tons of people & children..... all dealt with curiosity, interest and newness of a puppy.

Even stairs were a new challenge that took him a couple of days figure out and now masters.

He is a very strong, happy, healthy 6 yr old boy, who like most Rotti’s I’ve ever met, is very eager to please.

I have seen absolutely zero aggression in any circumstance, even my 14lbs Jack Russell snitches the odd bit of kibble from his bowl with out even a grumble. Not to mention foster sis also uses him as a booster seat in my pick up!

Ben is good with all people and dogs but NO cats for Ben.

If you think Ben is the boy for you, please consider filling in our on-line application

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben, a Caledon Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Caledon, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Caledon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Caledon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Caledon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Caledon paves the way for another one to be saved.
