I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Shep's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, and up to date with shots.

Shep's Story...
Shep is an easy going adult male who would make a good companion dog for a home without other pets. He likes people, but it's not overly interested in strangers. He prefers the company of his human pack, but is not shy or aggressive toward others. Shep is however pretty reactive toward other dogs and he should be the only dog in the home. He also does not do well with cats. It seems he has already learned basic sit and down commands, but will need to continue to practice to execute them reliably.

Shep can walk well on leash as long as you do not allow him to be in charge of the walk. Remind him of his manners and keep an eye out for other dogs in the area so you can catch him early enough to prevent him from reacting negatively.

Shep takes direction well from firm, but fair leadership and is easy to manage in public as long as you are aware of your surroundings. All in all, Shep will provide years of solid companionship for someone who is willing to spend just a little time to continue to guide him in a positive direction.

The $250 adoption fee includes full vetting, the DHPP, Rabies, Bordatella, Canine Flu vaccines, spay/neuter and microchipping.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shep, a Dacula German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Dacula, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Dacula.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dacula already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dacula breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dacula paves the way for another one to be saved.
