Madonna's Story...
If you think the Material Girl is a diva, then just wait til you meet our Beagle Mix Madonna! The last time her Foster Mother brought in this lovely gal for a visit, she was wearing a pink tutu. This sweetheart was once facing euthanasia in a neighboring Animal Control. She was living on a prayer, but ITV knew she deserved a better life. We rescued her and placed her with a foster family. Madonna isn't a spoiled star. She earns all the great treatment and rewards she receives. Madonna is house-trained and does well in a crate. Although she is a couch potato, Madonna also loves her outside play time. She walks well on a leash. She is fantastic with kids of all ages and does great with all the other dogs. She is a very gentle and affectionate girl. Madonna hit a rough patch in her life, but she doesn't hold a grudge. She is a happy gal who just wants a family to love for the rest of her life. Madonna is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is about 7 years old and weighs 25 pounds. If your family wants to share the stage with super dog Madonna, please complete an adoption application at ITVRescue.org. She can't wait for your visit and she will be crazy for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madonna, a Evansville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
