Lily is a 3 year old Walker Hound mix who was found emaciated and living on the roadside. She has such a sweet personality that's so easy to love. She is now at her ideal weight (around 50 lbs.) and is ready to move on to a home of her own. She has been spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and is up to date on all vaccinations. Though she has no symptoms, she is Heartworm positive and is being treated with the slow-kill method. She is a shy girl and is slow to trust, so she will need a home willing to allow her to come around at her own pace. She would love a home with another dog, as she is most comfortable when she has another dog to look to and learn from. She has not been tested with cats. Lily is currently being fostered and has done well in the home. There will be an application, small adoption fee, and contract. Please email if you are interested in setting up a meet and greet with Lily!

About SnooperHeroes Cat and Canine Rescue - Raleigh

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in one of our animals, please contact us for an application. Prior to completing any adoption, we will do a home check to ensure the dog or cat's safety and happiness in a new home. There will also be a contract stating that the animal will be kept up to date on all vetting, will be kept indoors as a part of the family, and that we will be given first notice if a dog or cat should need to be returned or re-homed for any reason. Currently, the adoption fees are $75 for cats/kittens and $125 for puppies and dogs. Before adoption, all animals will be checked by a vet, will have had their first deworming, will have received their first shots and rabies shot (if age permits), will be microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered, unless recommended otherwise by a veterinarian.
