Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rocky is a 5 1/2 year old, 65 pound American Pit Bull Terrier. With a beautiful chocolate brown coat, white chest, and a dazzling set of peepers that will warm your heart…Rocky is all that a family could want in a canine companion. Rocky loves children and does well with them.
Rocky came into rescue through no fault of his own. Originally he was owner surrendered because someone in his home was allergic to him. We had Rocky in rescue for 18 months and he found a home. They had him for 18 months and surrendered him back to us because they were moving to a city with a breed ban. Our heart is breaking for Rocky, he lost another family.
Rocky is completely house trained and loves to romp around, flipping toys, playing tug, chasing balls, and snuggling on the couch, but what Rocky enjoys the most are belly rubs and ear massages. He truly loves to be around people and will be just as inclined to sit at your feet and chew away at a bone as to cruise around with you in your car, he loves car rides.
Rocky needs to be the only dog in his home. He views cats as squeaky toys. Rocky knows his commands and has been beautifully trained by Robin Moulds at Alpha House K9’s. Rocky walks well on a leash. He truly has shown to have a great temperament and beautiful soul through all his trainings.
Rocky would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can run free and explore the world with a family that will love him forever.
Rocky is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heart worm tested, and micro chipped.
