Lida is a happy, sweet, and well-behaved dog! She loves to be around people and is very polite with everyone she meets. Lida is also very good with the foster family’s son who is 7 years old. She will do well in a home with young children. Lida is a great girl and will do well in any homes that is willing to open their hearts to this lovely girl!

Lida and her siblings were owned by an irresponsible owner who was mentally not stable. A kind volunteer often visit them to make sure the puppies were safe. The owner did not welcome the volunteer every time. The volunteer offered to pay for the dogs’ spay operations as she was worried that the owner will not get them spayed. The owner refused to get any help. After a few months, the volunteer found the dogs missing. The owner would not tell her where the dogs went. She kept going back until the owner showed her where she abandoned the dogs. After a few weeks of searching, the volunteer found them in a remote mountain where there are no food and shelter. The dogs were starving and were so skinny that all you see are their bones. The dogs were rushed to the vet. Luckily they passed all their blood test. All they needed was proper care and food to be strong again.

The volunteer called Lida’s now foster mom for help as she can’t take them home and don’t want to just spayed them and returned them back to the mountain for them to continue their homeless lives. Lida’s foster mom is an experienced dog rescuer. Her home is full of rescued dogs waiting for a second chance. However, she didn’t have the heart to turn her back on them and see them suffer. She went to the vet and brought them back to her home and gave them the best care. She promised them a loving home and will never let them starved again.

Lida has been vaccinated, spayed, de-wormed and microchip. She is a healthy girl and patiently waiting for her forever home where she can grow up safe and happy! Will you be that special family for Lida?
