My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing our super mommy, Cora. This 4-year-old gal certainly has a striking gaze but is so much more than just a pretty kitty. Cora has not only raised five of her own kittens, an impressive feat to be sure; She has also become a foster mommy to a sixth baby who was found abandoned at just one week of age. You may be thinking that taking care of so many kittens is a lot of work, and it is, but Cora has been such an amazing, observant and loving mother. We have all been impressed with her caring skills and her watchful eye. Cora was lucky enough to have been adopted and spent the last couple years in a home, but unfortunately when her family fell on hard times, Cora was returned to The Pet Rescue Center. Cora has given so much of herself in the past few years and she truly deserves a home of her own where she can become the spoiled one. She would be so appreciative if you opened up your heart and home to become this super mommy’s rescue hero.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
