found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Josie is a sensitive gal. You cannot scold her too harshly - she takes it to heart, though she knows what no means and she responds to being told to leave something alone that she is not suppose to be doing.
Josie is a playful girl and she and her sister play like crazy! They also sleep together in the crate at night. Josie is very quiet - is not a barker or whiner, and sleeps through the night without a noise from her.
Josie has learned to use the doggy door and so far has not had any bathroom accidents for a week now in the house. She gets along great with her two Doberman foster doggy siblings.
She has been started on some leash training, and is learning "sit" and "wait." She is very interested in the cats but does not bark or chase them, and when she follows them if they start to run I tell her no and she listens. However, she does not forget and she will go back and try and find the cat after you tell her no. We believe she will be fine with cats but will still need to be worked with.
Josie has been around many people - both adults and children. She is a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly. She will be more comfortable as her confidence grows with more frequent and positive introductions.
