Lena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lena's Story...
Lena is a 5 month old, 19 lb. boxer mix puppy. She is a sweet puppy who gets along with all dogs (including cranky old female German Shepherds!), and she is learning to respect cats. She has been raised on a horse farm, and she adores horses. Lena is crate trained and nearly house trained. She's a spunky little girl who would love an active family with kids and/or other pets to play with. She is a prolific kisser and will lick you all over your face and neck if given the opportunity. We anticipate that Lena will grow to be about 30-35 lbs, and she's spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She had a rough start in life, having been hit by a car and turned into the shelter hopeless and alone. Lena suffered from a broken pelvis and dislocated hind right femur. . But with FOR's love and attention, Lena came through surgery just fine, and now she's happily tearing around her foster's back yard as if nothing was ever wrong.
We'd love to introduce you to her! Please email info@fORrescue.net to speak with her foster mom. You may also complete the dog application at www.FORrescue.net to get things started! Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lena, a Knoxville Boxer/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Boston Terrier for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Boxer/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
