My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Are you looking for one of the sweetest little dogs around? Well, you found me! My name is JOSIE, and I'm a two-year-old Papillon/ Spaniel blend with a tender, loving soul. I love to be held, and I think you'll enjoy the experience as much as I will. I have a healthy, soft coat, and I tend to snuggle up next to your heart. I've been very quiet here at the shelter, so I'll probably be a wonderful apartment dog. I'll be most happy when I'm with you, and I'll probably enjoy sleeping in your bed with you, if you'll let me. I love everybody, including other dogs. I'd prefer to be in a quiet, adult home, or one where the kids are older and very considerate of me. A sensitive little girl like me needs to feel safe. The staff is fairly certain that I've already been house trained, but I might need a refresher course when I get to my new home. If you'll be patient with me, I promise to work hard at learning whatever you'd like to teach me. If you come visit me here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter, we can spend some time getting to know each other in the lovely play yard that they have here.
