Meet Darcy! This little orphan girl is a sweetheart! She is a medium sized lab mix and is just about a year old, give or take. We do not know what she is mixed with. She is a love muffin and just wants to cuddle with you and be near you! She is a ball of energy that wants to play and loves to be outside so an active adopter is important.. She needs to have a yard or a place she can go to run a lot. She is great with cats, and does well with certain dogs but can be grouchy with others. She is easily calmed if you reassure her. She seems to be fine with children, but because she is so hyper she would probably do better with older children. She is very smart and a quick learner. She knows some basic commands like sit and lay down. She is also getting better on the leash but can pull so she still needs some work in that department. She really loves to chew on her toys and play fetch, so if you want a fetching dog she is perfect for you. She is also good in a crate, but you have to physically put her in the crate.... once there she just lays down and sleeps. . She is fully potty trained and will wait at the door if she does need out. Overall she is a high energy, playful girl that settles down nicely and just wants love and affection.
