Callie's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Callie's Story...
Whew! At long last, here I am, now waiting for my forever home! My name is Callie, and I'm a Border Collie mix gal, born in 2013. I am anxiously waiting to meet that special someone who gets to take me home now!

I am still puppyish in my joy for life. I'm super-friendly, enjoy the company of people and other friendly dogs, and I'm athletic, too. I love to walk, run, swim, splash in pools, play (especially with soft squishy stuffed toys) and enjoy all the fun life has to offer. Toys are a special source of comfort to me, and I love selecting a toy by sticking my head in a bag full of them! I am naturally very smart, love to play fetch, and I'm very loving and loveable. (Need a hug and a smile a day? I know I do!)

So what are you waiting for? Here I am, so ask to see me, Callie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Denver Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Denver, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
