Wolfie's Story...
Say Hello to Wolfgang aka Wolfie! He's an adorable bundle of 11 pounds. He's 4 years old and a purebred red Pomeranian (no papers). He was the love of his mama's life until she passed on Easter morning with Wolfie at her side. Understandably, he's sad to lose her, but after a full day of meeting new people, and a vet visit for shots and meeting his new foster family, he's settling in nicely. He's already being a little social guy, wagging his tail and checking out his new digs. He gets along with other dogs and cats (he's lived with small dogs like him thus far). He's shy upon meeting new people, but will be thrilled to meet you, especially if you have a great lap he can sit in. He can use a doggie door, and loves a backyard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wolfie, a Colorado Springs Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
