Maggie is a black lab mix, approximately 4-5 years old. My husband rescued her as a stray when we lived in Arkansas. She is a great dog but she does not get along with our other female dog, an Australian Shepherd, and they have been in several scuffles.
She has always been very kind & gentle to my toddler- but she would be better served as only dog. Very sweet and loyal girl. House-trained and likes to take long naps on the couch, but also enjoys working alongside her people and having a job to complete!
If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $225.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
'Maggie is a participant in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.'
